Billbrain Technologies Ltd. successfully implemented a comprehensive ICT Training and Technical Backstopping program for Cluster Coordinators, Hub Staff, and Hub Board Members under Heifer International Uganda’s East Africa Youth Inclusion Program (EAYIP).
The assignment focused on strengthening the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to improve access to, management, and sharing of business information across youth-led agribusiness hubs where EAYIP operates.

Supporting Youth Inclusion Through Digital Capacity Building
Heifer International, a global non-profit organization founded in 1944 and operating in over 30 countries, works with communities to end hunger and poverty while caring for the earth. In Uganda, Heifer is implementing the five-year East Africa Youth Inclusion Program (EAYIP), which aims to empower 15,000 youth by creating employment opportunities, strengthening agribusinesses, and enhancing participation along agricultural value chains.
To support these goals, Heifer International engaged Billbrain Technologies to provide ICT consultancy services for EAYIP staff and 13 cooperatives/hubs operating in Bugiri, Amuria, Ngora, Kiboga, Wakiso, and Luwero districts.

Objectives of the ICT Consultancy

-

-
Support the installation and use of relevant ICT applications and software at hub level and on selected youth-owned devices.
-
Provide post-training technical backstopping to support adoption and sustained use of the technologies introduced.
