Billbrain Technologies Ltd.<\/strong> successfully completed Project KUHA \u2013 Train the Trainers<\/strong>, an ICT capacity-building initiative aimed at equipping primary school teachers with practical information technology skills in selected host districts of Uganda\u2019s oil and gas development areas in the Uganda’s Albertine Graben<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The project was implemented for Tullow Oil Uganda<\/strong> in partnership with the TGSS Alumni Group \u2013 Uganda (TAGU)<\/strong> and focused on strengthening teaching capacity in government-funded primary schools<\/strong> located within Tullow Oil\u2019s operational areas of Buliisa and Kaiso-Tonya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Empowering Teachers Through ICT Skills<\/h4>\n

Project KUHA was designed to enhance the ability of teachers to effectively integrate ICT into teaching and learning processes, while also improving basic digital literacy within schools affected by oil and gas sector developments.<\/p>\n

The training targeted teachers from four beneficiary schools:<\/p>\n

    Kaiso Primary School<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Kyehoro Primary School<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Ndandamire Nursery and Primary School<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Through a Train-the-Trainer approach, participating teachers were equipped with foundational IT skills that can be cascaded to fellow teachers and learners, ensuring long-term impact beyond the training period.<\/p>\n

    Timely and Successful Implementation<\/h4>\n

    Project KUHA was implemented and completed within the stipulated timeframe<\/strong>. The project commenced with a preliminary field visit on 27th May 2019<\/strong>, followed by the start of training activities on 10th June 2019<\/strong>. All training sessions were successfully concluded on 28th June 2019<\/strong>, with the project reaching formal completion on 1st July 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
